COACHING PHILOSOPHY

Coaching is a trusted relationship promoting self-discovery to change behavior and promote performance.  

COACHING PROCESS

My coaching experience spans over twenty years working with private sector, public sector, and non-profit leaders.  

I offer a complimentary 30-minute consultation to prospective clients. My standard coaching engagement is ten hours which is generally completed in six to twelve months:

Introduction to Coaching, One Hour
Assessment, Four Hours
Build Development Plan, Two Hours
Plan Implementation ,Two Hours
Sustainability, One Hour

Coaching session frequency and location is based on client needs and availability.  Continued coaching beyond this standard agreement is available.

My commitment is to provide professional services designed to meet your needs. I will be timely, supportive, and will challenge you to self-discover what you need to do to close your opportunity gaps.

I need you to be fully engaged throughout the coaching relationship. Be open to feedback, punctual, prepared, meet your financial commitment, and realize future success directly relates to your initiative.

STANDARD POLICIES FOR ALL COACHING AGREEMENTS:

Client calls me at 443-517-3150 for coaching conversation calls. My business hours are from 8:00 to 5:00 EDT—appointments outside of these hours available upon request.

Assessment fees (ex. 360 feedback) and travel expenses beyond 50 miles from my office are mutually agreed upon and paid by the client.

INVESTMENT

Professional coaching rates vary widely (from $100 to $500 per hour) in most metropolitan areas. I price my services based on a national coaching organization that monitors industry rates and subcontracts work to me. The coaching investment details are covered in my complimentary 30-minute session for prospective clients.

SAMPLE CONSULTING AGREEEMENT

To provide the President/Owner an independent voice and strategic perspective to grow the business. Duties to be focused on strategic business growth, business effectiveness, owner and manager development, and human resources.

10 hours per month

Services:

  • Monthly President/Owner meetings to discuss business/personal effectiveness
  • Strategy Development/Execution (company structure/business plans)
  • Meeting Facilitation/Support (strategy meetings/retreats)
  • Human Resources Consulting (hiring, performance management, retention)

Training provides skill development to meet the needs of the individual and organization.

CONSULTING PROCESS

My specialty is interpersonal skills training for leaders. For over thirty years I have been sharing my expertise and leadership experiences, successes and failures, to diverse audiences. Examples of leadership groups I have presented to include professional organizations, manufacturing, financial services, chambers of commerce, and higher education.  

I also teach in the Bradley University Executive MBA program with a concentration on communication skills.

I offer a complimentary 30-minute consultation to prospective clients. My standard training agreement is based on content development and delivery time.
